I am very picky about my brand in freezer bags and have almost always purchased the ziploc brand over my local store brand but this new ziploc doesnt zip they just tear right off and not useful and I end up throwing them away without being used because they are no longer useful. I have bought these is in bulk and I'm now stuck with them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It can hold a good amount of fruit or left overs. The ziplock sealed top easily seals the bag closed. These bags are handy for just not food, but for make up, hair ties and anything else you need to store. I love the fact it has a white area on the bag in which you can label and date if needed.

I think I'm missing something...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, these Ziploc bags sound great in theory but I got some to try and can't for the life figure out how to use them. I realize that it should not be difficult but I've tried to set them up to "stay open" multiple times and they do not seem to do anything different than any other zip-type bag. They do kind of stay open like a regular store brand bag that I use. The plastic feels a bit thinner in the Ziploc bags, but not enough to be an issue. They have a quilted looking pattern on the bottom of the bag but I'm not really sure what it's supposed to do to help, maybe extra support? These are quality bags, like all Ziploc brand bags are, which is why I have them 3,stars. I deducted 2 stars because there's no reason why they shouldn't just be easy to use. I shouldn't have to try different methods to try to figure out how they work.
