I would not purchase again.

The seal is very good. Too good in this case. Trying to open was virtually impossible when trying to separate from opening end. Pulling sides of bags was more effective but still difficult and impossible if liquids are stored. Pulling hard enough to open bags ended in ripping bag. Whole box was the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Ziploc quart storage bags are very easy to open & easy to seal close . When properly sealed the bag is quite effective at keeping the contents air tight & fresh longer. I'm glad to read that the bag is bpa free plus that you can reuse the bag after proper cleaning . Being able to reuse the bag is better for the environment & it's good to read that these are made while using wind power. Great bag , great quality & easy to open or close makes this a must buy.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These bags are very well priced and come in a sturdy box with a hole for easy dispensing. The bags themselves are heavy duty and the water tight. The label holds marker ink well. Excellent product, excellent packaging. Comes in a cardboard box with a quick-pull slot like facial tissues. Used regularly for sous vide, no punctures or tears. Good size for an individual portion (e.g. a ribeye or chicken breast).

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These bags have a good thickness to the plastic, so I dont worry about tears or breakage. The zipper portion is easy to close. There is a flap at the top to make opening a lot easier.
