3M Hooks

I'm sitting here looking at the two large brown spots on my wall. It happened last Christmas when I removed two large 3M hooks - you know your product that supposedly doesn't damage walls? It did hold my garland nicely however the nail holes that I patched and painted the year before that are not visible which is a helluva lot more than I can say about your product. I promised myself I wouldn't go that route again. It's been nine months now. I guess I forgot. I would like to thank you yet again for the nice big brown spot in my hallway where your product once again ripped the paint right off the wall. I followed your instructions to a "t". Your product does not deliver and I think I deserve a refund.

We designed them to remove cleanly so hearing that they’re removing paint is something we need to address. Smooth, painted surfaces are one of the intended applications and so long as the strip is stretched straight down along the wall until it’s fully stretched, it should remove cleanly. Perfect for a multi-frame arrangement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to hang a grouping of five small canvases, all of different sizes and at different heights, that required very precise alignment. Also, because the pictures would be only an inch apart, they all had to stay perfectly vertical - any tilt would be apparent.
So, these strips were a great solution. Minor tweaks to position and alignment were easy, and everything lined up perfectly. Trying to do that with nails and the sawtooth hangers on the art would have been very difficult. Plus some tilting is inevitable with sawtooth hangers as the balance is never perfect. (Of course, there's a Command stabilizer product for that, too!)
I even had a chance to check the easy removal feature. One of the pieces was initially positioned incorrectly, and removing the wall-mounts by pulling on the tab worked amazingly well.
About the only disadvantage I see is that the art is quite snug against the wall. I normally like a little more air circulation behind the art to avoid picture-sized marks on the wall after a few years. Minor issue, though, particularly since these strips aren't recommended for wallpaper and paint is easy to fix.

Wonderful Alternative to Nails

They have made my office beautiful as they are holding all of my pictures, including my diplomas! Thanks for a great product!

I use them on anything within the weight limit that I need to remove often like whiteboards, power strip, and more... Love it! I buy them every chance I get even if I don't need them right then because I never know what new thing I'll think of!!!

Great for everything

Put one on each side at the top corners and it will hang really level and allow you to hang heavy thing. The mirror is quite heavy and it is nice level and sturdy. The best part is I rent so the walls will not be all messed up when I leave, which means more deposit back for me

Moving Help

I had tried some of the other 3M Command products with good results, so when I realized that I didn't want to ruin walls in a rental I picked up a few packages of the Command picture strips. A couple of hours later all of our personal items were hanging without a single hole! Now our new house feels like home and I don't have to worry about losing our deposit when we take everything down. Thanks 3M!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I HAD BOUGHT THESE HOOKS, AND WASN'T SURE HOW TO USE THEM. THEN OF COURSE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AFTER I GOT THEM HOME. WELL, THEY WORKED SO WELL, THE NEXT DAY I RAN OUT AND GOT MORE COMMANDS FOR MY OTHER NEEDS. NO HOLES IN THE WALL, NO MESS, THEY ARE JUST GREAT!! COMMAND, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE. I WILL SURELY RECOMMEND THESE TO EVERYONE I KNOW.

I love that you can re-position them if you don't get your item level the first time, and you don't have to worry about putting any more holes in your walls. This is all I'll ever need to do any kind of hanging with. I can't wait to try out your hooks!
