[Employee of 3m-command] I buy these every time I need to hang something. They hold great and they don't leave holes in the wall like nails do. Love them!
I use command strips to hang pictures in my dorm, and love that I don't have to worry about my decorations falling or damaging the walls. They are also easy to use. Thanks for a product that actually works!
I bought these to hang my daughter's puzzles on the wall. The puzzles are light and going on a textured plaster wall. They do not hold the puzzle up. I find things on the floor all the time. I am back to trying to find something that will hold her puzzles up. I am glad the puzzle was not in a glass frame or she could have gotten cut up by broken glass.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We would not expect that trouble using our strips on your puzzle seeing as 4 sets of strips can hold up to a 12 lb picture. For any customer having this issue we would ask they call our team at 1.800.934.7355 M-F 8am-5pm CT so we can assist. Please know we will be sending you a direct e-mail offering assistance.
I bought these strips to hang up my sister's picture that I bought her for her birthday and the strips lost their hold, causing the picture (with a glass front) to fall. The frame was warped and the glass shattered all over the floor. I would suggest a nail in the wall because then you can be sure it won't fall. I can fix a hole in the wall, I can't fix shattered glass. Don't waste your money on these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from 3M to test and review. I love it! The pictures stay on the wall and the walls don't have any damage on them! I will be buying more when I hang more pictures. Nothing comes close to comparing to this product!
I've used all sorts of Command products which provides ease and damage-free hanging---till I encountered this bugger today. There are only liners--they have no "mates" so there is nothing for it to "velcro" to. Went on line and found same instructions there that are on back of package. Am I supposed to buy a package containing the opposing strips? Very disappointed.

From the sounds of it you received our general purpose strips in our picture hanging strips package. We are unsure how this could have happened but will certainly make it right! Please look for a direct e-mail from us. Thanks for posting your review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yay! I love these, they are so awesome! I love yhe fact that I'm able to hang up my cork board without having to screw nails into the wall. These hanging strips made it sooo much easier for me! I love decorating my room and having items up on the wall but poster tape or nails always ruin one or the other....I'm so glad 3M created these! I just wished they came with more strips per package though!
I had a plaque hung with command picture hangers. It fell off the wall and I wanted to rehang it with a different method. When I carefully tried to remove the strip from the wall, it took off the paint and plaster. Now I must repaint an entire room. Clearly, small holes in the wall are better than this. And since I have many pictures hung with command, I will probably need to repaint the entire house when I'm ready to sell.

We absolutely would not expect them to allow the plaque to fall as long as weight limits were followed. We also would not expect removal damage if the strips are stretched down slowly as directed. Please know for any customer experiencing this that we would suggest they contact our customer service team at 1-800-934-7355 M-F 7am to 6pm CT. Please know we will be e-mailing you directly as well.
