I tried using the picture hangers to hang a shelf that weighed less than 3 lbs. and it would not hold. I used 3 then added a 4th. I did not have anything on the shelf. The shelf was for my classroom.

Picture Hanging Strips :(

I hung all of the pictures in my house with these, which was fine for ~2 wks. Now, my pictures are falling off the walls. Either the velcro wouldn't hold or the both sides of the strip would come off--taking the paint along with it many times. One picture may have just been too heavy, but most of them weigh >1lb. I am very disappointed.

i could never hang pictures straight altho once they are on the wall i could see crooked. with command i can hang and then redo later when i see what is wrong. i have had so much fun decorating my kitchen, living room and bedroom walls.

I had hung a number of pictures, the old way. Nais in the walls. When I found the command picture hanger strips I was overjoyed. Now I could stop puting holes in the walls of our new home. In addition if my wife didn't like where they were or wanted to change what is already there, no problem and no more trying to patch the holes.

I tell everyone I know about the Command Picture Hanging Strips. What a great way to display items on the wall without damaging the surface. I even used the strips to adhere a standing (rather than wall-mounted) clock to the wall which always receives compliments. Love, love, love, this product! If I could, I'd give a package to everyone I knew! Thank you!
