Every January I start a new file for the year. This one is even better not only because the lid latches in place but the plastic is sturdier and the lid is slightly raised to accommodate any overflow papers or booklets. I prefer file jackets to keep any small papers or items from escaping the sides of the folders but the box is also set up for hanging files. The plastic is translucent so that a calendar or “title” shows through the box for labeling and quick identification among boxes. There are cheaper plastic file boxes but the differences in this one are worth the investment.
Hanging file clear-plastic storage container. Works well and latches closed well. Easy to recognize content without having to open it. A big plus. I purchased two.
I was looking specifically for a clear file storage container with latch handles. I actually use this to store fabric (3yd or less) by folding them up so a portion hangs over the top of the file folder while the remaining stays in the file. This allows for easy viewable access to the fabric. The files move smoothly in this very well made container. The lid stays on securely and it stacks securely as well. I definitely recommend this file storage container.
