These files boxes are perfect - the ones that all companies made a few years back were these exact HxDxW sizes; then somehow the sixing changed to 14 inches or more wider - well that no longer fits on my shelves side by side. I'm thrilled to find these in this less then 14 inch width - they are sturdy have locking lids and can stack if needed. It's a WIN for me.....
