I do not need waterproof but just to warn those who do the nice little plastic disc sliders on the bottom are poked into the bottom ( not a great design idea) . I always wash new plastic as it helps with the plastic glass off smell. I had it sitting in the bathtub filled water and baking soda and the water was gone. WHAT? There are 4 tiny holes in the bottom on of the box where the sliders are popped in so this is not for storing on a basement floor. It is the right size Both sizes of hanging folders fit and slide smoothly Easy to pick up and I have only stacked 2 high so far... The private delivery service lost the original package and delayed this for a week.. but now that I have it it works great and recommend the product. I just got them so I can not comment on how long lasting the plastic or locking handles will be. Really helped organize the files.

This hanging file is exactly what I needed to store all of my files. The cover will keep dust out as well. There is room to spare and it appears to be quite durable. Overall a great product at a fair price.

It replaced my two drawer file cabinet and is a much more portable solution. Even full it's not too heavy. It's not the most sturdy: I dropped it on its corner from about 3 feet up and it cracked
