The handles securely hold the lid when fastened but fall off when released. Aggravating to use if opening and closing frequently but as I am using it to store tax files I will be using once a year I’ll keep it.

this file box seems to be sturdy enough / I needed a clear one that has a latch and this one seems to be ok...the iris brand is the one I bought several of a few years ago and it is the sturdiest...file boxes need to be strong enough to lift/open and close with ease.
