On day 1 it ran for 9 minutes before overheating. On day 2 it ran forv10 minutes before overheating and never recovered. We boxed it up and returned it. We bought it because it advertised 20 minute run time. Not true. Don't waste your money.

This is by far the best shredder I have used. It cuts quietly and the shredded pieces really are extremely small. About the size of a hole punch. I believe it was a great investment.

This is the second one of these. The first one jammed miserably when I tried to use the automatic feeder. It is supposed to hold 150 sheets. Staples replaced it and I just started using the replacement today. The automatic feeder just does not work properly. Anything over 10 sheets of standard copy paper will jam it, even if you fan the sheets to make sure they are not sticky. So I am feeding this "heavy duty" shredder three sheets at a time. I would not recommend it.

This shredder is great. It has function and features that my old shredder could not do. Additionally this unit has a design that helps prevent it from failing like all my previous shredders.

Barely enough power to shred 12 sheets, this will probably not last 6 months. I thought it was the same as last one we ordered from Staples but is not. And description do not include size of motor to compare units.
