Great Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to use this paper shredder and I must say it impressed me with its performance. I had no issues with overheating or jams even during extended usage. It worked efficiently and exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features for me was how seamlessly it shredded CDs without any issues. Previous shredders I've owned struggled with such tasks but this one handled it effortlessly. I also really appreciated the inclusion of a bag with the shredder. This not only made disposal much more convenient but also saved me from the hassle of transferring the shredded material into a separate bag and creating a mess. Overall this paper shredder has definitely made my shredding tasks much more manageable and efficient. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and hassle-free shredder.

Great shredder for small spaces and home offices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an apartment with limited space for a home office but still deal with confidential work documents that should be shredded (not to mention my own personal stuff like tax and bank documents!). I had been keeping years of papers that needed shredding in my closet because I couldn't get my act together to get to a store to drop them off for shredding but this sleek little shredder solved that problem! It's small but can still handle a pretty big stack of documents. It was really easy to assemble and I like that it's on wheels so that I can store it away easily when I don't need it. It's not too loud and it shredded like a champ. When I was done shredding I wheeled this into my walk-in closet and I'll keep it there (out of the way of my toddler and out of sight to reduce clutter) until I need it again. It's really handy and I'm pleased.

Efficient and easy to store

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this shredder from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review I thought it might be a bit too big. But I found it fits perfectly in the desktop computer tower space on my desk! This area has been unused since I have a laptop and I never know what to put there. Assembling and using the shredder was so simple. It only took a couple of minutes to unbox it and set it up and it was ready to use. Whenever I need it I just pull it out from my desk compartment plug it in and shred. I rarely have to dump the bin because it holds so much! I don’t have a huge amount of items to shred most of the time but I get some mail or documents that I don’t want to just throw away because there are sensitive numbers or information on them. This shredder is great for someone like me because it isn’t too large and is so quick and easy to use when I need it. I also liked that it is very quiet and shreds quickly. It doesn’t just cut in strips but into little pieces that would be impossible to read or reassemble so it adds an extra level of security. Overall this shredder has been so handy to have in the house for the occasional documents that I need to shred.

Reliable and Solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxing and setting this shredder up was very quick and easy. I liked how easy it was. I had a pile collected to shred and I started with only a few sheets. As I added sheets to the shredder it was able to perform well without jamming or the paper flowing in sideways or half in then stopping as I have experienced with others in the past. This was steadily taking the papers and performing well. It wasn’t too loud and it remained sturdy while shredding. The size of the unit and bin are great as this is not so large that it is an eyesore and it does not have to be emptied after 1-3 uses. This stays in my office by my desk and it is a perfect place for it. In the past other machines have been louder and my dogs have left the room when I run it - that is not the case with this unit!

High capacity paper shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paper shredded is excellent for my needs. It can shred huge stacks of paper at a time and won’t get jammed. I will suggest to keep the papers as aligned as possible though. I haven’t had any problems with jamming so far but it does say it has safety features like auto start/ stop and overloaded protection. But like I said I never encountered a problem yet. The size is perfect for under a desk at 23 inch high. It’s not too loud when shredding. It keeps all the shredded papers neatly in the bin till you’re ready to throw out. The size of the cuts are good enough for me that all the confidential information is totally secure. It even advertises that it can shred a credit card though I have not tried that. Overall this is a great item and definitely recommend.

Good for light to moderate use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great shredder for low to moderate use. It is quiet shreds well and has several features that make shredding quick and safe. My favorite features are the cover for the blades and a crevice. The crevice keeps fingers away from the sharp blades but also helps hold sheets of paper straight so the paper does not twist and clog the blades. However because the crevice is deep the machine can only shred the standard 8.5x11inches paper or smaller. It also can only handle about 12 sheets of paper or less. I was still able to easily shred some thick credit cards that contained metal in them. Overall I was happy with the power of the shredder. Although we never experienced a clog the top of the machine can be lifted up to give access to the blade. The shredder also has a reverse function if needed. The capacity of the machine works for low to moderate use. It would need to be emptied a lot if it were used heavily and would need frequent breaks to cool down if used heavily. We never had it over heat for us. This machine has worked well in our home office. We have been able to shred our sensitive documents easily. When not in use we unplug it and slide the lid over the blades. We do have small children in our home and unfortunately the lid does not lock. For this reason we are mindful to put it away out of reach. The machine has four small wheels which can roll well on hard floors. These wheels would be too small to roll on a carpet or rug. We like to be able to roll it under a table where our children don’t have easy access to it. It’s a great shredder for an office. It would not work for heavy use but does well for light to moderate use. We love that it handles heavy duty tasks of thick credit cards and staples without clogging. Overall we have been happy with it and would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Staples 20 Sheet Micro-Cut Commercial Shredder is ABSOLUTELY GREAT!! I run a small business out of my house creating shirts sweaters and other custom products for my customers so I was stoked to get to try this shredder out because I hadn’t gotten one yet and having to cut up confidential mail to throw it away was a hassle! This shredder is commercial strength so it has a very large bin capacity. I’ve had the shredder for around close to a month or so & it’s only about a quarter of the way full I haven’t had to empty it yet once and I literally use it daily while going through m paperwork from my orders and stuff I always shred any paperwork with customers info on it after I’ve gotten their order packed up & I get multiple orders daily. It can even shred old debit/credit cards without any issue at all. It doesn’t slow it down or cause a jam either I’ve tried that out & was blown away at how quickly & easily this shredder shredded the debit card! Due to this shredder being commercial it isn’t tiny but it’s also not ginormous. It will need a little space in your office or workplace wherever you will be keeping it. It’s also a little heavy because it is made of quality material & very tough! I’ve had compact size very light shredders in the past and they were junk. Always got jammed & could hardly cut through anything. This shredder was absolutely the best one I could have hoped to receive to use for my small out of home business. It has every quality I needed and plus sooo many more! If you’re considering buying it PLEASE BELIEVE ME AND DO IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!
