[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paper shredded is excellent for my needs. It can shred huge stacks of paper at a time and won’t get jammed. I will suggest to keep the papers as aligned as possible though. I haven’t had any problems with jamming so far but it does say it has safety features like auto start/ stop and overloaded protection. But like I said I never encountered a problem yet. The size is perfect for under a desk at 23 inch high. It’s not too loud when shredding. It keeps all the shredded papers neatly in the bin till you’re ready to throw out. The size of the cuts are good enough for me that all the confidential information is totally secure. It even advertises that it can shred a credit card though I have not tried that. Overall this is a great item and definitely recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this shredder from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review I thought it might be a bit too big. But I found it fits perfectly in the desktop computer tower space on my desk! This area has been unused since I have a laptop and I never know what to put there. Assembling and using the shredder was so simple. It only took a couple of minutes to unbox it and set it up and it was ready to use. Whenever I need it I just pull it out from my desk compartment plug it in and shred. I rarely have to dump the bin because it holds so much! I don’t have a huge amount of items to shred most of the time but I get some mail or documents that I don’t want to just throw away because there are sensitive numbers or information on them. This shredder is great for someone like me because it isn’t too large and is so quick and easy to use when I need it. I also liked that it is very quiet and shreds quickly. It doesn’t just cut in strips but into little pieces that would be impossible to read or reassemble so it adds an extra level of security. Overall this shredder has been so handy to have in the house for the occasional documents that I need to shred.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great shredder! The sliding lid is a helpful tool to make sure others will not get injured with the exposed sharp shredders. I love that the shredder is on wheels. It’s very easy to install and to move around the room as needed. It’s not heavy but it is convention hot have to pick it up if I need to move it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Staples 150 Sheet Micro-Cut Shredder is hands down the best shredder I have ever had. And I have went through several. It is smooth and quiet making easy work of all of that I have thrown at it. I recently cleaned out my parents house so I had A LOT of shredding to do. It ran continuously for 30 minutes at a time on several rounds of shredding without jamming or shutting off. The automatic feeder is a time saver. You can load it up and walk away knowing that this shredder will get it done. It makes perfect confetti out of all of your documents. It’s better than the shredder I currently use at work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staple 20-Sheet Micro-Cut Commercial Shredder is incredible. It is the perfect size for a small at home office and has the capacity to handle small office projects as well. It has a very deep bin for the shredded items! It is relatively quiet for a shredder and I absolutely love the peace of mind it provides when getting rid of important documents. It is simple and easy to use! If you are looking for a secure way to get rid of important documentation this is the shredder for you!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with this shredder. Set up was simple and only involved putting caster wheels on. The instructions are clear and simple and I found the shredder very easy to use. The casters make it possible to wheel around on hard surfaces however the unit is quite top heavy (as are most shredders) so you have to push carefully or it tends to want to topple over. Noise level was likely as good as a shredder can be I shred with noise cancelling headphones in and it was very quiet. With the headphones off the noise level is tolerable however talking would be difficult. I was impressed with the shredding capabilities it can certainly handle 10 pages had no problems with staples and even tackled 8 pages inside of a folder! The shreds are tiny no one would be able to piece any of the documents back together at most I saw 1 maybe 2 letters together on a shred no full words. It claims to have a 5 minute run time however I felt it shredded for longer before the temperature indicator lit up. Since I am going through stacks of papers I need to shred I was doing long bursts of shredding rather than a page here and there. When I ran the machine constantly until the temperature indicator came on and the machine turned off I was able to shred 2-inch stacks of paper each go very impressive. For comparison my last machine would overheat after 30 pages or less. The shredder is slightly bigger than I expected but this turned out to be a good thing as I don’t have to empty the shreds as often as I did with my last shredder. The shredder is still small enough to store under my desk when not in use. I included a photo with a bankers box for scale. The only negative for me and the reason I could not give it 5 stars is that the unit does not have any childproof lock or some way to leave the machine plugged in but safe for children to be around. The machine turns on as soon as you slide back the top cover and the top cover is very easy to slide and it would be very easy for tiny fingers to find their way in. This means I have to unplug the machine after each use to ensure my toddler does not wander into the office find it and accidentally turn it on. This is fine for my shredding purposes but would make quick shredding of a page here or there rather annoying having to plug in and unplug frequently. Overall great shredder nice design easy to use and definitely shreds documents securely!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the Staples 10-Sheet Micro-Cut Personal Shredder was amazing. Now I don’t need to spend lots of time to shred the documents. First of all I love that it doesn’t make too much noise since I have baby room very close to my office and second of all the shredder is speedy enough to finish a big stack of paper I have collected for many months to shred. It only took less than 5 minutes to finish them all. I keep the shredder in my office next to my workstation and printer. It’s also not too big but it doesn’t mean that bin capacity is small. It’s quite the opposite bin capacity is big enough not to get over loaded. One small thing I have noticed that the shredder gets overheated quickly but maybe I used it up too much for the first time since I didn’t have a shedder before. However I don’t think it’s a big of a deal for me because I will be shredding on time since I have one now right next to me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy about the efficiency and capacity of the Staples 20-Sheet Micro-Cut Commercial Shredder. I have yet to experience a paper jam or the frustrating wait time of being forced to shut down the shredder waiting for it to cool down. I use it in my small office where there are 2 people using the shredder. It has such a large bin that only find ourselves emptying the bin on a bi-monthly basis. We love the fact that we do not have to remove staples before shredding and that we can shred a large amount of documents simultaneously. Instead of a chore that we dread it has become a welcome diversion. It is extremely convenient when it comes to thick documents such as confidential power point presentation decks proprietary information and legal documentation. This is a welcome addition to our office and does not take up that much space.
