Definite upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples 20 Sheet paper shredder was a fantastic upgrade for my home office. My old shredder was only a 12 sheet and would struggle compared to the Staples 20 Sheet. The unit is heavier and only slightly larger in overall size but the increase in power and how fine the material is shredded is well worth it. This shredded will remain a key piece of my home office.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall Impressions and Efficiency: After using this 12-sheet capacity shredder in my home office I must say it performs admirably. Compared to my 15-year-old shredder it has similar speed and performance efficiently handling multiple sheets at once without a hitch. This consistency in speed and functionality was impressive. Bin Capacity: The bin capacity of this shredder is more than sufficient for regular home office use. The fine shred it produces can be easily compacted allowing for extended use without frequent emptying. This is a significant improvement over older models that often required more frequent maintenance. Placement and Ease of Use: I kept this shredder in my home office and its compact size fits perfectly without taking up too much space. It's very easy to use with straightforward controls and minimal setup required. The design is user-friendly ensuring that even those who are not particularly tech-savvy can operate it with ease. Noise Level: Regarding noise while it’s not whisper-quiet the shredder's sound level is more than acceptable. It's quieter than a vacuum cleaner and I found it comfortable enough to use without ear protection (unlike when I vacuum). For those particularly sensitive to noise using earplugs might be beneficial but in my experience it's not necessary. Overall this shredder meets all my expectations for a home office environment combining efficiency capacity and ease of use into a compact and reliable device.

Excellent Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this shredder! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an at home shredder. Pros: It is very quiet I am able to shred documents while my baby sleeps in the next room. It cuts everything so tiny I have zero worry anyone could get important information from it. I love that it is on wheels so I can store it under my desk and easily pull it out when I need to shred. It has an easy empty bin that you don’t have to lift the heavy shredding part off to empty. It shreds 10 pieces of paper at a time and can shred cards. Cons: it has a 5 minute run time before needing to rest. This has never been an issue for me however could be if it is for business use. Because of this I recommend it for personal at home use only.

Perfect for home office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great shredder! Easy to set up and easy to use overall great machine. It’s a bit on the heavier side so I appreciate that it came with wheels. Cuts like a dream micro cuts are the way to go! I can shred tons of papers and cards before I have to dump the basket out because it cuts everything so small and efficiently. I appreciate that the basket opens in the front for easy disposal I although I wish it had a handle for easier opening and closing. A neat feature I really like is that there is a cover that covers the slot/blades when not in use. And the cover is the on/off switch which is convenient and I feel safe having in the home with a curious toddler in the house. Last but not least the sound isn’t all that loud even when shredding credit cards. I have a sound sensitive toddler and he didn’t mind the noise at all. Definitely recommend!

Awesome Quite Shedder

I must say this shredder works perfect shreds 20 sheets all at one time and can go for at least 20 minutes of run time. This shredder can also shred more than paper it shreds small paper clips credit cards staples cds and dvds. Its very quiet when running. What I do like is the bag management no mess at all shreds go right into the plastic bag when full all you do is put a tie around it and that is it. Also this shedder shreds so fine that no criminal would ever find out your peronal info. I have the Staples shredder lubricant and will put it into the paper feed entrance about twice a month so my shredder works exactly the way I want it too. Nicely made with a sleek design. This shredder comes with a 1 year manufacturer limited warranty. I totally recommend Staples 20-Sheet Micro-Cut Commercial Shredder to everyone. I use this daily for my personal in home office to keep all my info shedded.

Great Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples 10 Sheet Micro Cut shredder has a sleek design compact and durable. It is heavy but glides with ease on wheels. This machine quickly shreds up to 10 papers at time. The size of the machine is perfect. It easy fits under desks or in small spaces in a closet. Currently it is parked under a desk. The bin capacity holds a lot since the shred size is so small so it doesn’t need to be emptied often. This shredder is beyond easy to use. Simply slide the top cover toward the back and the unit turns on. Add your paper and start shredding. When you’re done slide the top cover forward and the machine turns off. While not quiet I wouldn’t consider this shredder to be extremely loud. It definitely makes sound when it’s turning on and shredding but since it shreds quickly it is not making sound for long.

The micro-cut shredder function takes your data down to 4mm x 12mm pieces. It provides shredding capability for paper credit cards standard staples small paper clips and CDs/DVDs with a quiet operation of 65-decibel. The top load feed will shred up to 12 sheets or up to 6-feet per minute. It includes essential safety features like Auto Start/Stop Manual Reverse Overload Protection red overheat indicator and flashing green and red overload indicator with 20-minute continuous run time with a 40-minute cool down between cycles. Efficient and secure shredding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Staples 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Personal Shredder for a few weeks and I definitely like the quality of this shredder. My favorite thing about this shredder is simply that it shreds documents to a point where I can feel secure about throwing them out. Some shredders don’t do a good job at this but the crosscut shreds the paper to be unreadable and irreparable. As a check I tried to see if I could make anything out on the shredded paper and the pieces were so small I couldn’t really tell what I was looking at. I couldn’t even find a nearby matching piece after shredding two sheets. Despite it being quite tall for capacity it’s decently thin. It fits easily under my working desk and just roles in and out as I need it. The role feature was smooth and helped to get it out of the way when I wasn’t using it. Perhaps the only thing I would change about it is that I would make the extension cord a little longer so I can role it farther but I can add one of those as I need it. The box says that this has a run time of 20 minutes and a cooldown of 40 minutes but at no point did I ever come close to reaching the max 20 minute window. It’s good to at least know it exist but I don’t ever imagine shredding so many documents at one time that it takes me 20 minutes. Another good feature I liked is that the shredder area is covered by a sliding wall. To get access the shred portion the cover must slide back and it’s a nice safety feature. Finally when the shredder gets full there is a little window so that you know when to empty. Even with the window I haven’t really had any issues with capacity since there is quite a bit of space. Overall I like this shredder a lot. It’s an efficient use of space and is relatively quite for a shredder. The fact that it sheds to a very secure level and roles makes this a great product in my eyes.
