[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Staples 10-sheet micro-cut personal shredder. It save my time. Very easy to use shredded very small pieces easy to work with. Shredded 10 sheets at the same time what is very cool. Also like that there’s a screen that I can see the full level of shredded papers. I put this shredder under my work table and it’s very helpful I can shred anything at anytime. Also it’s so good thet a noise level is more noticeable than the other products has

What a shredder should be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out the box it looked like any other shredder nothing special . Boy was I wrong . Had a sleek design after second glance not as loud when in use . Was hesitant at first putting in the suggested amount of sheets scared like a majority of shredders on the market it would jam and then the hassle of clearing it not to mention the risk of getting hurt doing it . I must say for such a small thing it packs a punch and cuts with ease . No jamming no need to reverse to clear. The cuts are smooth and quick . Would recommend this for anyone looking for a shredder for home office or small space . Perfect for the price .

Great high capacity shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stellar Product Panel for the opportunity to test out this product! I’ve been using it at home for shredding sensitive mail and it’s the perfect capacity and capability for our needs. It can shred 20 sheets at a time and it had no trouble with shredding several sealed envelopes at a time with folded papers inside. It’s quite heavy so I love that it’s on wheels and I could roll it to the side of my desk out of the way when not in use. It automatically starts/stops when it senses paper in the receptacle and has a safety cover over the entire top which is nice since there are children in our home. I store it with cover closed tucked beside our office desk and unplugged just to be safe. Very functional shredder that I’m glad we have!

Slow and steady but works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The staples 20 sheet micro shredder is very nice looking it has a sleek design. It's black and fits well in any small business office or even your home. It doesn't take up much space at all when it comes to a shredder. It's bigger than a mini shredder but small enough that it seems to fit well. The buttons are visible on the shredder and it has a clear window in the front where the shredded paper is visible. Now to the important information though how does it work - and the answer is good. It is a bit of a slower shredder and it claims it will cut through 20 sheets of paper no problem. So I put it to the test. It was extremely slow with more paper. 5 sheets was really easily shredded more than that it seemed bogged down. However it did make it through the 20 sheets. I thought for certain I'd have my first jam- but I didn't. It just took an extremely long time. The cuts are great you get the small diamond shred and not long strips of paper. I didn't realize I'd have a preference in the way my paper was shredded but now that I've seen it shredded into diamond I don't want the strips. You could easily piece together the strips - this would be almost impossible so it made me feel like the shred was secure. It seems like a sturdy machine that will last for awhile. The blades seem sharp and it's very easy to run. I also like that I can move it around easily. Where I need to store the shredder I don't have a plug in I can easily wheel it to the plug in do my shredding and put it back. The shred basket holds a lot of paper too I've used the shredder for about 3 weeks for a small business and I've not had to empty it yet.

While the shredder does deliver a micro cut the titling of the shredder as “150 sheets” is misleading as that only occurs when you load 150 sheets (no staples etc) into a feeder that slowly feeds them through the shredder. The shredder itself actually only suggests 12 sheets being shred at a time well below the 150 count advertised.
