I replaced my old shredder with a comparable Staples brand. Wow Staples has not disappointed! Great shredder. I believe its a bit better than the old one and was $40 less than the Tru Red brand I had. Color me impressed. Recommend this shredder to anyone.

Powerful and Easy Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder is just the right size for my home office. It's easy to wheel around and the drawer holds a fair amount of material. I wish I had a CD to shred! It will definitely come in handy when I need to get rid of a credit card - no more bending them up into little pieces! Overall I'm really happy with this product and have invited friends and family to come over and get their shred on.

Efficient and easy to store

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this shredder from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review I thought it might be a bit too big. But I found it fits perfectly in the desktop computer tower space on my desk! This area has been unused since I have a laptop and I never know what to put there. Assembling and using the shredder was so simple. It only took a couple of minutes to unbox it and set it up and it was ready to use. Whenever I need it I just pull it out from my desk compartment plug it in and shred. I rarely have to dump the bin because it holds so much! I don’t have a huge amount of items to shred most of the time but I get some mail or documents that I don’t want to just throw away because there are sensitive numbers or information on them. This shredder is great for someone like me because it isn’t too large and is so quick and easy to use when I need it. I also liked that it is very quiet and shreds quickly. It doesn’t just cut in strips but into little pieces that would be impossible to read or reassemble so it adds an extra level of security. Overall this shredder has been so handy to have in the house for the occasional documents that I need to shred.

Perfect shredder for your home office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder was the perfect addition to our home office. It was small enough to slide right underneath my desk and with rollers on the bottom it slides in and out so easily. It can shred up to 12 papers at one time and with ease. I thought it was very easy to use and wasn't too loud. The bin is a nice size so you are not always having to empty it and it is very easy to pull out and empty when you need to do that. I would definitely recommend this for a small office.

Good office basic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first shredder. I missed a "quick start guide " but it really only took two minutes to set up and read the instructions out of the box. Within minutes I was able to shred 850 workbook pages. It easily shredded the laminated cardstock cover and the itty bitty pieces are so minuscule I'm confident that my sensitive documents would be safely shredded. The 850 pages did basically fill up the bin so if I were shredding for the 20 minute maximum I'd have to have a larger garbage handy. It's smaller enough and clean-looking: I would eventually slide it under my office desk easily but for now it stays in my broom closet (away from curious toddler hands). I do wish it had a place to grip at the safety slide top and an extra safety feature to be more childproof. All in all it covers my checklist for home/family shredding.
