This is one of the greatest things I use. I understand that it is a simple piece of paper but it is heavy enough to go in my purse without getting ripped. I can give it to someone and it doesn't get lost as easy as a note does. It is just the right size. I use these everyday.

Fill the need with no issues

It is very difficult to judge the performance of index cards - while stiff paper rectangles with plae blue printed lines (or possibly plain - no lines) - they either work or they don't and it is hard to visualize an application where they wouldn't work. The Staples house brand index cards (I've bought and used all three sizes in recent months) are uniform in dimensions which means they fit easily in file drawers and containers; they are consistent in color and reflectance so no glare or conflict with the ink colors used to record on them; and they are stiff enough to stand up to regular handling without undue wear but not so thick as to bulk up excessively in storage. They are also the right siffness to use when mailing small irregular items that require fastening to a backer in an envelope - I use the plain cards often in this way.

I don't know what happened to the old REAL index cards but I have been unable to find any. These are just a little thicker than paper and not really like card material at all. For those of you wondering the same thing...

Great Cards for All Kind of Filing Needs

I use them for customer info biz expense/income recipes store lists phone notes messages...you name it I use them for it! Even sometimes for store list...different stores/needs different card...have used them in a pinch for a gift card (fold lined portion inside for message & put to/from on outside punch hole in corner & thread on a ribbon)... Like that they are sturdy material always have some in my purse for any emergency needs to write something down... Staples products are every bit as good as the name brands but at a better price!! And service can't be beat...most items ordered are delivered withint 1-2 days...

flimsy and bent from the packaging

By going with Staples brand I guess the quality has to suffer. The cards were thin and packaged so tightly that they were curled and could not be straightened out for use. My recommendation is to buy a better brand.
