My only criticism is that I can't get it close enough to the printer to catch all of the pages of a long document when they come out.

Great for more than the office

I purchased three of these. They fit perfectly into the 3 top cubbies of the Martha Stewart Living Storage Bench in my entry foyer. When the kids get home from school they empty their bookbags and put their papers in their own basket for Mommy to review. No moreschool paper clutter all over the house! This item is reasonably priced and multi-functional.

I had been storing miscellaneous

I had been storing miscellaneous papers on top of my printer because I am cramped for space. But I had to constantly move them around when I used the scanner and it was just sloppy. This wire formed letter tray holds the papers nice and neat and all I have to do to open the scanner is put my hand on the basket or pick it up. No more picking up papers off the floor. It's just been a lifesaver!!

Sturdy and Practical

These baskets hold a lot of papers and feel pretty well made. The only thing I don't like is that the designer didn't make them so they could be somewhat stackable and it would have been awesome if there was a way to attach a label to what the basket was. Right now there are explanatory sticky notes taped to the side.
