Convenient Lamp with Limitations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to test the Tru Red Portable LED Lamp as part of a campaign through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This sleek lamp boasts one-touch control and three color temperature settings offering the promise of efficient and adjustable lighting. The convenience of its USB-C charging which meant compatibility with existing cords was a standout feature. However my experience with this lamp revealed both positives and limitations that are worth discussing. In terms of design the Tru Red Portable LED Lamp is undoubtedly modern and stylish. Its slim profile and lightweight construction make it highly portable allowing me to move it around effortlessly. Whether I placed it on my desk travelled between offices or took it to a different room in my home its portability was a definite plus. Proper lighting is crucial for me when it comes to working for extended periods and the Tru Red lamp offered adequate illumination. Having the right lighting greatly reduced strain on my eyes during long work sessions and the lamp’s three customizable color temperature settings were a thoughtful addition enabling me to adjust the lighting to suit my preference and the task at hand as the ambient light changed. The lamp’s customizable brightness settings were a convenient feature allowing me to fine-tune the lighting intensity. Whether I needed a soft glow for a calming ambiance or a bright light for focused tasks the Tru Red lamp delivered on flexibility. However despite its positive attributes I did find some limitations. The lamp’s size and total output were not sufficient for all of my needs both at work and home especially when reading documents. The light’s coverage area was limited which made it less functional for tasks that required a broader and more intense illumination. In my workspace and beyond the lamp served well as a supplementary light source for smaller tasks like typing writing or casual reading. Its portability made it easy to bring to different areas of my home but it didn’t quite meet the demands of a primary reading light for documents. In conclusion the Tru Red Portable LED Lamp offers an elegant design portability and customizable lighting settings. Its impact on eye comfort and versatility are noteworthy aspects. Battery life was also impressive. However its limitations particularly its size and brightness for more substantial tasks should be considered depending on your specific lighting needs. While it may not be the ideal solution for comprehensive workspace or intense reading requirements it still serves as a useful addition to smaller tasks and ambient lighting scenarios.

TRU RED Portable Lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've found the TRU RED portable lamp to be a pretty versatile addition to our home. Regarding the design and style it is very modern looking but also innocuous so it sort of blends in wherever you put it which I really like. The bottom has some weight to it so it feels really stable while also being light and easy to move from room to room. I've had it for a couple weeks or so and have only actually charged it once so it seems to hold its charge very well. And most importantly to mention- this lamp really is easy on your eyes! I don't think I realized how many of the lamps I own are designed in a way that the light inadvertently ends up being directed at my eyes (while also illuminating my work area). This lamp is designed in a way that the light is directed down towards your work space so that it illuminates the area without the harshness. I also love the option to adjust the brightness and tone of light pretty easily with the touch pad on top. So far I have found this lamp useful all over my house. My husband and I have used it as a desk lamp in our home office but it really does have so many other uses. I like to bring it into my bedroom to use as a reading lamp and I've especially liked using it to set up a little area to do my own gel nails or to trim my toddlers tiny nails. The extra light has made it so much easier to see what I'm doing and to be more precise. My family is going camping in a few weeks and we will honestly probably bring this little lamp with us for that too! The versatility of this little lamp is honestly the biggest selling point for me. The one complaint I have so far is that the touch pad on the top that allows you to adjust the tone and brightness seems to be a little finicky. I often have to play with it a bit to get it to work properly. Usually shutting it off and on again using the button on the bottom will solve that problem for me though. Also I should mention that I did receive this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Nice Portable Lamp

This usb-c charged desk lamp is the perfect size for use at your desk on the kitchen countertop or even in the car! It's completely portable and rechargeae. There are 3 color temperature options which are easily changed by tapping the top of the lamp. The LED lights are crisp and bright enough for countless tasks. Made of textured metal this lamp has a simplistic modern design that will fit in perfectly with any decor. Definitely recommended!

Great little lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great little lamp. I love that it’s portable and you can unplug it and take it anywhere you need to go. I’ve been using it on my desk by my computer and I think the light really helps ease the strain on my eyes when using the computer for long periods. It has different color temperature settings and can also be dimmed. Everything is controlled by easily tapping on the top of the lamp. It’s beautifully simple and very elegant and modern looking. My favorite thing about it is the portability! You can unplug the lamp and take it anywhere you need light. I have been using it as a reading lamp in my baby’s room. There isn’t an outlet by the rocking chair in her room so I don’t have a way to have a lamp set up when we read her bedtime stories. This lamp has been perfect to give us enough light for reading without having to turn on the overhead light. It has pretty good battery life and I haven’t had to recharge it very often when using it for this. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone. Stylish and versatile lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this lamp for two weeks and so far I’m loving it! I work from home and have been using this lightweight desk lamp around the house for extra lighting during my work day and as a reading lamp in the evening. It keeps me from straining my eyes too much. I also appreciate its stylish design it fits right in with my modern aesthetic. It’s also very lightweight so it’s super portable and easy to move from room to room. And the fact that it doesn’t need to be plugged in once it’s charged is a game changer! I personally hate dealing with cords so this is a huge benefit. I also appreciate being able to change the color of the light as well as the brightness. I have dimmers in every room at home so this is perfect for me. I mostly use the in-between setting not too cool and not too warm. I could see myself using the warm setting in the evening for mood lighting. I typically don’t like bright white light because it strains my eyes but I find that even the coolest white setting is comfortable. The versatility of the lamp is amazing! The only things I would change would be: 1. would love if this lamp was another 4-6 inches taller so that it could illuminate more of my workspace and 2. would be great if the charger cord was usb-c to usb-c so that I could easily plug it into my laptop without an extra attachment. These are very minor things though overall it’s a great product and I would highly recommend. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this desk lamp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lamp is portable which is perfect for travel or camping or incase of emergencies and the lights go out this would be a really good backup light since you don’t have to plug it up for it to turn on only when it needs a charge . The battery lasts long between each charge which is a nice feature . Its comes with three different settings that are activated with touch on top an the settings are perfect for any type of setting you’re needing a light for and each setting is bright enough to see an light up a area but not too bright where you’re turning the lights on in a room . It’s also medium size lamp that is not too big or too small and it’s super lightweight so you can carry it around . I can’t wait to use this lamp when I have my baby so I don’t have to turn on every light during nighttime . I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel .

Great Portable Lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TRU RED Portable Lamp is a great small lamp for your desktop. It has a very small foot print so it fits on any desk easily. I really like that it has three different color lights so depending on your tasks you can adjust not only how bright it is but what color the light is. Another benefit of the lamp is that since it’s so portable my daughter likes to take it and use it while she’s playing with her toys. Overall it’s a great little lamp. The most portable lamp you did not know you needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house is full of lamps... wall mounted ones huge floor lamps small beside lamps and even those tiny clamp lamps to read at night. I never saw a need for portable lamps until I was given the opportunity to try it out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The lamp was completely assembled right out of the box which was nice because I don't like to spend time reading through and trying to figure out how to assemble products. The design of the lamp is fantastic. It's just aesthetically pleasing to my eyes because it's so simple and it just blends in with the surroundings instead of sticking out like a sore thumb. I didn't really even feel the need to read through the manual that was included. I plugged it in and it's usable while it is charging. I love that there are no extra buttons and all I have to do is tap the top of the lamp to change its light settings. I also love how sturdy the lamp feels but it's not so heavy that I feel like I'm getting a workout carrying it around. The lamp has been absolutely amazing so far and I have not found any fault with it. My eyes get fatigued after using the computer for a while and I've found that using the lamp in conjunction with the ceiling light has been life changing. I do not find myself rubbing my eyes or putting my head down to take a break or reaching for the bottle of aspirin to ease my headache. I have also found that because of its portability I'm able to use it not just at the desk but also while I'm enjoying my passion and hobby which is building lego. It's easier to distinguish between different colors and to find smaller pieces which were harder to find without the addition of this portable light. I honestly can't find anything wrong with the lamp. It's totally portable it's light but sturdy the light it emits is bright it charges well with the C charger and it blends in so well next to my desk. The only thing that could improve would be the availability of different colors.
