When open it is not rigid. Somewhat flexible. However I loaded it with 50 - 60 pounds of outgoing mail and carted it to the USPS. Rolls nicely. I paid about $30 and feel it was worth every cent. The previous one was rigid and lasted 20 years. I'd suggest when not in use it be stored in a clear plastic bag like from the cleaners. Because it is black it will show dust & dirt. It really looks great brand new! The handle seems more sturdy than on our expensive luggage. First time out it was terrific!

This is a replacement for a cart that I've used for years. The handle on the old one almost would not go up & down anymore. I find it very helpful when traveling or other situations when I can load several items and pull them rather than carry. I am always impressed by the helpful personnel at Staples. Robert at the Yucaipa store was great on this occasion.

This cart comes in handy for so many things. I use it instead of carrying groceries trash recycle 3 cases of water transport to the house from car. I thought I would use the cart moving files and books and I find it has been a time and back saver while moving from a house to a condo. I recommend this product and I purchased a second to keep in the car.
