Unfortunately, not a fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a crafter and customer of Scotch brand products, I really really wanted to enjoy using and reviewing the Scotch Paper Tape. I used it in various different home projects and crafts such as taping many homework helper posters to a wall, taping two cardboard toilet paper rolls together, taping gift paper, etc. It's a great concept. It does easily tear by hand, and the tape did change to a clear color on most of the items as advertised. Unfortunately, the adhesive does not hold/stick for long at all. It immediately unstuck from almost every item, causing me to have to use regular clear Scotch tape.

Nice way to lessen plastic consumption

I have been trying to find new ways to reduce the amount of plastic my household consumes, and I was excited to learn about this tape! I like that it’s paper, of course, that it is semi-transparent, and that you can easily write on it. It’s easy to tear, and I like that I don’t have to spin it around a bunch to try and find where the end is to pull and tear (it’s the worst when you lose that end!). I will say it wasn’t as sticky as I thought it would be, but that’s ok-I will just use it for things that don’t need super sticky tape!

Decent tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not completely transparent as it says, but transparent enough. It doesn’t seem to stick as much as regular scotch tape, but it’s good enough. It tears super easily by hand. I love that all of it seems to be recycled paper.

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape works great with marker and pencil, but pen doesn’t write very well on it. It holds quite well and doesn’t seem to come off easily when it isn’t meant to. All in all I’d reccommend it for labelling especially for using to label frozen foods/lunch box items.

Great for labeling things !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tape for labeling things in my office! Ever tried writing on tape? Not easy and wipes off! But this stuff is the opposite! It's white and giddy so it sticks and stays perfectly!

I got this product to make a map of a world I was building. Purchasing this due to its supposed use for labeling and art, I expected this to take ink from art pens and markers. THIS NOT WHAT YOU GET. I tried multiple kinds of ink but the only ones I was able to get to work was sharpie and your everyday pens. If all your wanting to do is put this on containers as labels, this might work. But for any art project look elsewhere.

Don’t use transparent tape for wrapping

I’ve decided y’all don’t actually want me to leave this review because it keeps freezing up as soon as I get done with this part I can never get through. The one star is only for the transparent tape. Do not use it to wrap presents. The tape is too thick for what they give you to tear with. You cannot hold the paper up with one hand in your finger through the hole and rip. You need to have one hand on the tape and the other hand, ripping it which makes wrapping presence extremely difficult and takes so much longer. I can hardly bend my finger today without pain from the huge gas. I got from the tape. I had to use so much force to try and tear it. The tape either dug into my finger or it would tear with so much force. The tape would flip up and attach to my finger every once in a while it would tear normally though.
