Poor performance

I purchased approx 30 of these for my staff, mostly for the wrist support, only to find that the triangle pattern on the mouse pad causes the mouse to track diagonally when trying to move horizontally. Can't believe 3M would let this product out to the wild. We have confirmed it's the mouse pad by checking performance with a piece of paper and it's definitely the pattern on the surface.
