[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good quality pencils. We use this brand of pencils for my sons class room and they last a long time and sharpen amazingly they also erase great without leaving any marks on your papers! I will be buying these for next school year!

Finally - a pencil that doesn't shred!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great quality! I got them for my son to keep as backups to his mechanical pencils. I didn't have high expectations as I have been burned before by wooden pencils. You know how it goes... the lead breaks easily, so you go to sharpen them, and the wood shreds like pulled pork, in turn making the lead inside unstable to where it breaks even further up the pencil. However, the first time my son had to sharpen one of these pencils, it came out just as smooth as when we first opened the package, and the lead writes smoothly and doesn't crumble under normal pressure. This is a great, sturdy pencil that I wish we'd tried years ago!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are doing virtual school this year and I swear we can not keep enough pencils in our house. My 16 year old and my 9 year old have plenty of computer work but there is still enough paper work to merit a plethora of pencils. We love these Paper Mate ones. I grabbed a bunch when my oldest needed them for his ACT practice work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a teacher and parent, I really like the Paper Mate #2 pencils.
They come pre sharpened, which is a big bonus for me. The pencils are sturdy, great quality and offer reinforced lead, causing the lead to break less.
The added erasers on the end are a nice extra, but could be a bit bigger as they run out fairly quickly.
