My husband is a pastor. We use this paper for weekly bulletins and he uses it for sermon notes each week. We are very satisfied with the quality of the paper as well as how it holds up over time. We were able to use the Staples print shop to cut an entire ream of this paper in half. This allows us to use it in the 5.5" x 8.5" smaller notebooks. This notebook is perfect for my husband to use for his sermon notes as it is compact and easy to handle. The staff in the print shop in Charleston WV were efficient as well as extremely polite and friendly.
This wonderfully smooth paper makes me feel rich! Plus I love using it for the work I send out to my clients. It reminds us all of the good old days when 20-lb. paper really felt like something. "Flimsy paper sends a flimsy message " but this paper makes even my personal notes seem more important than they really are. Especially now when we're actually not using as much paper as before because we're e-mailing documents instead -- it's so nice to be able to handle something substantial again. It's a great "messenger." AND no more printer jams! That's just a lovely bonus.
I am a small business owner who prints many client facing documents on a regular basis. I've been using this paper exclusively for at least 2 years and have been extremely happy with the consistent quality. it works perfectly for color and black & white content. The weight is excellent for handouts and promotional mailings. I use the product with a Brother color laser printer.
We needed a heavier paper for a special piece we were making for an event we were working. We have used other Staples papers for our office with a good result and so my wife grabbed this heaver paper (28lb) for this particular project. In the past we have used other name brand products that of course were much more expensive but at the end of the day the Staples paper did the job just as well and for a fraction of the price of the name brand products. So for us this was a no-brainer and we will continue to use Stapes brand paper.
The material that I was printing was not too critical for color so the cool blue hue wasn't a problem. I am printing with an HP Laserjet Pro 400 Color that when calibrated properly is capable of reproducing fairly accurate color so the hue might bother a color professional. But as I stated earlier the type of work that I am using the paper for was not impacted by it.The paper ran great through my machine and I will use it again.
