I bought this paper to use with an Epson Ink Jet printer to print saleable copies of abstract art. The color rendition was about the same as the standard color paper however the ink absorption was much better and the finished print was of superior quality. I printed the same image using both standard color ink jet paper and this product. Abstract art often requires multiple overlays of different color ink. The standard paper actually bled through in one place. This paper did not. It is also less flimsy and produces a more professional looking product. For less critical applications standard paper is normally acceptable and less expensive. However if the finished page is the product this paper is a better alternative. I had tried Epson's own color ink jet photo paper however the multiple layers of ink just laid on the surface and smeared. Probably good for photos but not so good for artwork. Although I am still experimenting ...this paper appears to have the required absorbancy for my particular use.
