I have forever loved this scent. I used it on vacation and it has forever reminded me of taking that trip. I stopped using it for awhile but longed for that scent. I went back to it and its absolutely horrible, sour fishy stink. I thought maybe it was a bad batch but after reading these reviews Im so disappointed with tides choice to modify this scent. Chat, WHAT ARE WE USING NOW?

As you can imagine, with our quality checks, it should never smell like sour fish. This is strange since the last time we made a change to this detergent was back in early 2023 when we improved the scent-bloom. Tide spring meadow pods smell like pickles!

Never again, got tide pods spring meadows pods and everything come out smelling like vinegar and pickles!, cannot get the smell out no matter what you do, what a waste of money, I will NEVER buy Tide again

Our products go through extensive testing to make sure they get your fabrics clean and smelling great effectively every time when used as directed, so this is not the experience we want or expect you to have, and we're grateful you let us know. To remove unwanted odors, we recommend rewashing your garments with the hottest water safe for the fabric, using the directed amount of detergent listed on the label. Additionally, be sure to check the owner’s manual on how to clean out your washing machine or do service wash on your machine as this could be the cause of the smell.

The scent is awful

This is my first time trying the spring meadows scent and the second I opened the washer I knew I made a mistake. It puts off an awful fishy wet dog like smell. So disappointed as I got a huge box.

I DO NOT like the altered Spring Meadows scent!

You took a good thing and ruined it! I used to love how my clothes smelled after washing them! Now they smell like they need to be washed again right after coming out of the washer. Please take a page from Coke and give us back our original formula. I won't be buying these again unless that happens. I will have to find an alternative that smells better.

Tide Pods and Pickles!!!!

Almost went and bought a new washer as I couldn't get rid of that nasty odor. On a whim I tried Gain and low it's gone!! Now I googled this and find all these customers with the same issue. Not me Tide it's you!! A refund would be lovely!!!

Horrible Smell - not a "Spring Meadow"

I wish I could take this back to where I purchased it. I loathe this new "Spring Meadow" smell. This does not smell anything like it should. I have used Tide for years. But this....... HORRIBLE. Not fresh at all and almost makes me nauseous. It is too expensive to just buy something else. UGGGGG.

Our products go through many safety and quality tests to ensure consumer satisfaction, so we appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as what you described isn't something we'd expect.
In 2023, the scent of Tide Spring Meadow was changed to improve scent bloom. Scent bloom is the reintroduction of scent caused by friction against the fabric. If the scent becomes too much, we recommend discontinuing the use of the pods, but please hold onto them for a few weeks in case our team needs any further information. We always take consumer feedback into consideration when designing our products, and we'll be sure to let our team know that you would like the old Spring Meadow scent brought back.

Worst fishy fragrance!!!

Omg the worst fishy smell from pods!! It is not the washer, water or the clothes... it is the detergent TIDE pods 3 in 1, sprong meadow!! 49 pods!! I WILL NEVER purchase again. Back to ALL snd ARM N HAMMER.
