My clothes smell like fish

I’ve had to wash my clothes several times with different detergent because I could not get the smell of fish out of them. The smell of fish is so powerful and strong on my clothes when they are all dried. I will be switching my laundry detergent and will not recommend these pods to anyone. Bad move for switching the scent.

I love this scent! I wish it was available in a regular liquid, or for use in warm and hot loads.

New scent awful

Our family is not a fan of the new Spring Meadows scent in tide pods. I started using this scent years ago as it was recommended on Airbnb as the most clean smell for sheets in our Airbnb now it is overpowering and smells like cheap perfume on our clothes. Please consider changing back to the original formula which was so much more clean smelling and unoffensive, especially for those of us who have allergies.

Smell

This was the worst thing I have ever bought bc the smell is so bad. I will never buy this again or even shop from this brand. It ruined all my clothes and the smell doesn’t go away, and I’ve smelled it in my room for weeks even after rewashing my laundry load twice. DONT buy it, the other reviews are right and I wish I read those before I made the worst investment ever.

The strength of the scent desired on the clothes is a personal preference and we're sorry to hear you feel this way. Dosage could be the cause of too much scent remaining after the wash and you may want to use only one PODS™ for your wash. If the you're using a fabric softener this can also affect the scent left on the clothes after the wash. To remove the scent rewash with the items hottest water safe for the fabric, using the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener. Awful Smell

I usually buy tide pods to wash. I recently bought a large quantity of 4 packs in 1 of tide pods and its smells terrible. The first time I washed one load of laundry the clothes smelt so bad I thought I forgot to add the tide pod and re-washed it with another pod. Then I realised that the pods no longer smell the same. It used to have a fresh clean smell. Now it smells like dirty sweat. And my clothes aren't sweaty. If this formulation remains I will switch to a different brand. I like the smell of freshly cleaned clothes, bedsheets and towels. Right now I feel like my laundry isn't getting clean. 🤢

Smells Gross!

I bought a large package of 112 pods. My laundry was smelling so bad after washing and finally figured out it is the pods. The smell is embedded in the clothes and I can’t get it out. It almost smells like fish. Very disappointing. I hope they rectify this formula soon

Spring Meadow Scent? Not Where I Come From.

Wow. Shocked and surprised. This product should have never gotten out of the development phase in this condition. If there were truth in advertising, this product would have been called Fish Oil Factory Scented. I have been using Tide products for decades. They are (were) the gold standard for quality in my opinion. When the clothes comes out of the washing machine smelling worse than they went it, you have an issue. A big issue. When your recommended solution on this site suggests that the end user is using the incorrect amount of product...this makes matters worse because implies the product is fine and the consumer isn't smart enough to do laundry. Really? Bad approach. This may sound mean-spirited but it really isn't. I want to implore you to go back to the drawing board on this product or start marketing it specifically to those who want to have that "fishy-fresh scent".

Sorry to hear this has been the case. When a clothes start to smell after washing it may help to use Tide Washing Machine Cleaner to remove residue and eliminate any bacteria; monthly clean-outs with Tide Washing Machine Cleaner, helps keep odor-causing residues from causing odor problems down the road. Be sure to consult the owner's manual or the manufacturer's website for clean-out instructions. We hope this helps!

New scent is terrible

I have purchased these pods for years but I had to find another brand after the scent was changed. After seeing all of the reviews you know it is not user error. Please bring back the original scent. I don’t understand how losing all of these customers is really worth keeping the new gross scent
