Used to smell better

What have you guys done with the old Spring Meadow scent? I just opened a new pack and it smells terrible now!! I'm like really really disappointed right now. Please, please fix this now or I'll have to switch brands.

Bring Back the Old Scent

I used to actually use an extra tide pod just because I love the smell of the tide pods Spring meadow so much. Now I’m trying to find a new detergent because I don’t like the way the new Spring meadow smells. Please bring back the old Spring meadow.

Awful Smell, used to smell great

We recently bought a new package of spring meadow scent pods, and to our surprise the scent changed a lot. The new smell is like cheap bathroom air freshener. It is really disappointing because I really loved the smell, and now it’s headache inducing. My daughter, who is really sensitive to smells, noticed it too. Was the formula changed?

As someone who has used our Spring Meadow Tide PODS™ in the past, we can understand your disappointment when it no longer smells like it used to before. We're so sorry to hear about what happened but know that this isn't what we expect with our quality and safety checks especially since we have not changed the formula. If you have not done so already, we suggest you discontinue using your detergent and give us a call so we can hear from you about this and make a report to our Safety Team. Bring back the old scent

The new scent of the Spring Meadow pods is simply awful. I am returning it and grateful to our local retailer that they will refund so I can buy something else. Please go back to the old scent!

The pod ruined my clothes

I had several brand new items that I bought for back to school. The pod exploded all over the clothes in the washer and ruined them. There was sticky stuff with blue dye from the pod on our new clothes 😩😩

We're so sorry to hear that this happened to your brand new back to school clothes. When using Tide, you shouldn't have to worry about this, so we're glad you shared your experience. Since these pods are water soluble, we suggest adding the pod in before your clothes, and make sure too many absorbent items aren't in it, plus your load size isn't too much. This may help prevent this in the future, but we have some tips to share with you that we'd like to go over to help remove the pod and dyes from your clothes. Please call us at (800) 879-8433.

The spring meadows really stinks

I have bought tide for years but lately the spring meadow stinks! I don’t like fabreeze in my laundry detergent! Why can’t I buy the original spring meadow! Please change it back! I will have to change to a different detergent!

This was my holy grail… FOR YEARS. This smells like vinegar and pickles now. I literally don’t even know what product to use anymore and I refuse to buy another pack of these.
