STAPLES brand is better than all the oth

We previously have always purchased the brand name permanent markers (we use them a lot in our delivery business) but we ordered these one day in a pinch. The STAPLES brand really does the job better with these type of markers. They write better on more surfaces as well as have a longer life. Sometimes the store brand truly is the better product - thanks Staples.

Good Product For Marking Boxes

We buy the markers for the men to use out in the field when packing a customer's shipment of household goods at the origin address. They mark on each carton the room the carton was packed from and the contents of the carton. It is important to have permanent BLACK BOLD markings on all of the cartons so anyone who delivers the shipmant at the destination address will know what room to put the carton in.

Smells worse than original

They have obviously changed their product. The ink smell previously was not that strong and also the scent was less offensive. The new markers stink. They also bleed through very badly as my desk will never forget.

Not a fast drying

I am using it for a craft project and I need the ink to dry faster. It smears and I am a black mess.

This product was a disappointment

I tried this product for my office recently and it did not meet my expectations. We always use Sharpie Brand markers but I wanted to give the Staples Brand a try as I have used other Staples products and have been satisfied with them. However with this marker the ink is very runny and it speads on the paper. Therefore when writing you cannot get clean lines. I would not purchase this product again.

Great Product

I teach art at an elementary school and purchased this product for use in my classroom by my students for certain projects. My students really liked how reliable these markers were. Unlike the Sharpie brand they did not wear out or wear down after use by multiple students. The twelve markers were used by 95 students over the course of two weeks and they still work great. I plan on using them for future art projects in my classroom. I would definitly reccomend this product for office or classroom use.
