I am still glad that I as a preschool teacher who still uses "paper" to write on for the class stories etc. I really enjoy these markers (black). I love the chisel point-- this allows me to have different size lines from thick to thinner ones. The "ink" comes uniformly and doesn't soak through the paper. I am happy with the purchasing of a dozen at a time--saves me from going out often. The marker itself is just the right thickness and length to handle. I only wish that I could find these markers in all colors of the rainbow especially brown.

STAPLES brand is better than all the oth

We previously have always purchased the brand name permanent markers (we use them a lot in our delivery business) but we ordered these one day in a pinch. The STAPLES brand really does the job better with these type of markers. They write better on more surfaces as well as have a longer life. Sometimes the store brand truly is the better product - thanks Staples.

As a middle school teacher I was looking for an alternative to using calligraphy ink for a project. The pens worked beautifully. From a distance it looks like the student had actually used the ink.
