Good color variety but inside not light
on January 10, 2008

I like the wide color variety but the inside of the folders are supposed to be a lighter shade to prevent misfiling. On many of the colors the lighter shade is barely noticable...on some colors it doesn't even look like it is a different shade. I've used other brands that have a much better contrast and are better quality. IF the lighter shade inside doesn't matter these folders are fine. If it does I'd go with Pendaflex brand instead.

Staples Manila File Folders

The stock quality is great it doesn't wrinkle or rip easily. The seam is strong and doesn't fray.

Savings!!!

These folders are a basic "staple". There are no frills yet they are sturdy. Why pay for a pretty box or a fancy label if you only need a good manilla folder?

A necessity for the office.
on November 28, 2007

These days we are concerned for the environment and don't want to add to the waste problem. Whether it's a single file with a few slips of paper or gads of stuff these folders find many uses in my office and rarely if ever make it to the "circular drawer" (trash can). Job folders customer files drawings . . . individual items or multiple related material I use them daily. In and on my desk or filing cabinets they are everywhere I look. I probably have thousands in active use today and want thousands more. When they are stretched beyong capacity and the seam seems a little worse for the wear I still refuse to throw them out. Even after years of use when they've been relabeled reused and begin looking haggard from the abuse I can chop them up with scissors or a paper cutter and continue to find uses for them. I use them as card stock to fashion outcards job cards labels on drawers and cabinets tabs for three-ring binders and even more.

Flimsy Construction

I actually thought about returning it because I didn't remember it being so flimsy. It is really thin quality. We used it but I can't say we're totally happy with it.

Returned manila folders

[...] I received the most flimsy folders from this order. Nothing like the quality I have had in the past. These folders were like paper. How could they firmly hold paper if they are as flimsy? [...]
