I am Registrar for Tuscarora Chapter DAR. One segment of this job is to write DAR Applications for New Members and DAR Supplement Applications for current members. In so doing I need an efficient way to gather documentation and sort it all by generations at least two copies for each Application. When the Applications and Supplements arae Accepted by the National Board of Management and posted for Membership I dismantle the file folders and hand the material to the Prospective Member or Current Member for their personal Records.
These folders are very economical & perfect for use in our office. They are flimsy but they are for a one time use. In this case I was looking for a good value & this was the best value I could find. I don't know what else you want me to say about folders. I order all my office supplies from Staples. I use these folders daily for alphabetising payroll customers files. You can get paper cuts from them at times from the sharp edges be carefule when you go to grab a folder the side can cut you.
When I'm looking for folders I go to Staples. It's easy quick and I like buying in bulk. I like the fact that they are of good quality and with three tabs they're good for organization. We had to do a lot of organizing this year and it I had to make many trips to my computer to order more boxes. The impressive part is that the items showed up within a day. That's very helpful when you need them and you're trying to keep the process and staff involved to continue moving forward. It also supports minimal on-site storage.
A stack of papers is a guarantee for frustration missed deadlines and loss of efficiency. File folders put the resources for my many tasks in easy reach. The assorted positions of the tabs make them even easier to access. I have always tried to handle a paper or resource as few times as possible but inevitably there's that pile of papers to handle later. With the file folders I quickly write the subject on the tab and then place the file in an box in alphabetic order according to topic or issue. often I also color code the tab according to the date I must handle the issue.
These are the only file folders I will buy. They are good quality heavy stock. They hold booklets papers and all kinds of materials. The colors are bright and fast and make it easy to get your hands on the right file without searching the tabs.
