I have used these folders before. They are affordable and and durable. They withstand having many items placed inside without tearing. I like the fact that the tabs are located in 3 different positions. I am able to file and read what is in each file by the headings. They are easy to locate since I can stagger them based on the 3 position options for file headings. My 9yo also likes to file her school papers in them and plays with them. I travel back and forth between offices and I am able to back them in a briefcase and can rely on their durability.

Manila folders

These are great to store all the papers needed at tax time. I label the tabs and add these to the hanging folders which I then place in a plastic box with slotted ends to hold the hanging folders. One plastic box holds all the tax records for the year in a compact and easily located file set. I like the 3 tab over the 5 tab to write more stuff on and because I rarely put more than 3 manila folders in one hanging folder.

I would rather use the three tab manila folders for my filing projects. They are easier to read when looking for something. The three tab folders have more room to write on the tab than the 5 tab folders. I even use different colors in the writing on the tabs to make it even easier to read so when using the colored markers you can read the words clearer because of the extra room the 3 tab folders have. These folders hold up especially when you are always pulling files in and out of the cabinet. I would definitely recommend these.
