The picture on the box shows the inside of the folders being a lighter shade of the outside color. That is desirable but the folders inside the box were the same color on both sides. Having two shades of the same color assists in filing. Also a lighter inside makes a handwritten label more visable. Half of the colors in this box are very dark so that makes a title written with pen or pencil difficult to see. An assortment of pastel colors would be better but I do not believe Staples sells a box of 100 folders in pastel colors. Staples appears to carry (online) some Pendaflex forlders that have dark outsides and light insides. Of course they cost more.
THe Staples Manila File Folders have held up similar to the name brand folders we have used in the past but were priced more economically. We will continue to use the Staples brand folders
This product is QUALITY and reasonably priced. I swear by staples brand for file folders. The other brands are more pricy and no better quality. I must go through 100's of files and this is the product for our office.
What can be said really of a simple box of tabbed manila folders? I find they help organize the hardcopies of invoices receipts and expenses; particularly for organizing the records required to properly record report and file taxes each year. The tabs allow for customized labeling of different financial categories and the folders fit nicely into expandable binders for sorting between different filing entities such as business and personal. Anyway they are fairly inexpensive and easy to use and since the IRS has not completely converted to electronic only as an allowable form of recordkeeping they are still useful for that purpose.
