USB C is POWER ONLY

I chose this hub because it included a usb-c port. However, I did not realize that the usb-c port was POWER ONLY, no data transfer. I returned for that reason. Otherwise, it looked to be a fine hub.

I have a couple of Staples brand products (the white version) and love the material and sturdiness of them (substantial); HOWEVER, this product is the opposite. Very light (no substance) material and feels cheap. I returned it to buy a Belkin brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This will not work in an older laptop or computer that does not have a USB-C female! You can purchase an adapter but most older technology does not have a USB-C port. However it you have a technology device with a USB-C then this is a must!

The charging capabilities of the ports was a great feature. It allowed me to be able to charge two phones and a tablet simultaneously. Highly recommended.
