GOOD BYE MASKING TAPE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this so I could prepare for painting several rooms. Because I wasn't feeling well, my children decided to do the painting. They did a Great job because of this tape! No bleed through, & they said it was simple to apply. Thanks Scotch for making a Fantastic product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape for my last project and was a little disappointed. If used on a textured wall the paint seems to leak under the edge. Will try another one of your products next time since there are now a lot more options .

Do not waste your money or time!

I just got finished taping trim in a bedroom and this tape is peeling off the trim and itself! Does not stick at all! I just wasted time taping and money on pure junk. Absolutely will never buy again!

Terrible Experience!

I'm in the process of updating our bathroom and opened a new roll of 3M ScotchBlue™ Sharp Lines Painter’s Tape 2093. I used it to prep some ceiling molding and tile chair rail prior to painting. This was later in the afternoon. Being 73, once I got done taping everything, I decided to call it a day. When I went into the bathroom before bedtime, I looked at the tape and found that it was coming off moulding in numerous spots on each wall. It's also very thin and tough to apply.
At my age, it is not an easy task to be climbing over tubs and onto step stools and working around a chandelier. Yet, that is what I must do, again, because of the poor quality tape made by a major manufacturer that I use to trust. Unless you can somehow make me a happy camper again, I will begin my search for someone who knows how to make a painters tape that actually sticks and leaves a clean edge.

Surprised

Being a son of a Painter, working in the trades ( CA) for 5 decades i was surprised when I removed this tape. I have a construction that has been doing it all since 1991. This tape
blue #2093 is the first tape not to bleed through . I am sure that timing and technique is very important. It worked for my and this was a great surprise
