[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the past I have struggled with applying tapes and removing them. I have arthritis in my fingers. So much easier for me to use this tape..Also it hides my messy edge painting. thank you for a superior product.

Love the 3M ScotchBlue Painter's Tape

I have pretty much painted every room in our home and even painted a pin stripe in one of the bedrooms as an accent wall. This painter's tape made it so much easier and it turned out great!

Not worth the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spent hours taping the walls and base boards prepping for caulk and paint on the baseboards. The tape was peeling off every surface before we were done taping. Had to resort to plain old masking tape to get the job done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not the old quality...

I started with an "old" roll of 2090 Scotch-Blue that I had for a project last year.Well, I couldn't pull more than 8 - 12 inches before it tore itself in that infuriating "V". This hadn't happened with your tape before - the cheap brands, yes it happens all the time. Thought it was just old, so I opened a brand new Scotch-Blue 2093 roll. The same thing happened. Not only that, but I couldn't get the pieces to stick together as I masked off the door frame. I've been doing my own DIY painting for over 40 years and the new stuff just isn't the same quality as the old khaki colored masking tape available at the corner hardware store. Just saying...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Edge Lock -- NOT!

We spent literally hours taping a diamond pattern on the wall with this tape. It didn't seem to stick well at all, but I went over every edge of every line in front of my husband as he rolled paint onto the wall, so the edges were down as he painted. Every single line leaked -- the only places where the tape actually gave a clean line was where it crossed over itself! I will now have to redo every single line on the entire wall with a small paint brush, which is going to take me days to do. The wall was clean and dry, there was absolutely no reason why good painter's tape should not have worked perfectly. I will never buy this product again!

Sticks to what?

This is the worst tape I have ever used. I am a big 3M fan, but this tape sticks to NOTHING! In was taping paper to cover glass before I painted. I had to stop painting in order to retape the paper. Then when I was trying to block off the painted area to paint the previously covered area, I had to constantly redo the hour worth of work I had just spent taping. Terrible tape, Post Its would have been a better choice.

No stick

Using this tape to mask trim and it doesn't stick more than 12 hours or so. Trim was cleaned prior to application. Applied it a day before painting and had to go over every inch of it to get it to adhere before I painted. Very disappointed as the quality of this 3M products appears to be going down.
