Blue tape worked great...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] @ScotchBlueBrand Blue tape worked great masking off a white undercounter TV to spray it black with Krylon Fusion paint!!
Good crisp edges and zero bleed. TV looks like it was always black.
I would recommend this to a friend!

poor adhesion

Really only sticks to itself. Lifts after 15 min. allowing seepage for areas you reach after the first 15 min of the job. Very disappointed, particularly in view of cost.

It stinks. Paint seeps under it and it doesn't pull off cleanly in one piece.

This is NOT Edge-Lock Tape at all

This called "Edge Lock tape" is not working at all. The truth is out there, just reference my photos.It is easy to see the tape is not sticky to the wall and lift off by itself. The only thing I would like to say to your quality department is : Please focus on your product quality and reliability. If the qualification results can not meet your production specification, please stop calling "Edge-Lock"

Disappointed

Have used other 3M Blue tape products in the past with much success. Purchased the "Edge-Lock" version for my current house painting project and am finding that whatever "Edge-Lock" is supposed to be or do, it isn't working. I have taped baseboard with it and by the time I get finished going around the room, it is peeling off behind me. The baseboard was clean and dry when the application was made. I am going back to using the older version of the blue tape.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got this as a promotion or my wife bought it. It sticks to mark surfaces for protection and comes off without leaving a mark
