The BEST painter's tape ever made!!

I had a nightmare left by my tenants of 11 yrs. The entire 2 story townhouse had to be painted, top to bottom. I have tons of woodwork throughout. I went out to buy what was needed as I was doing all the pre-painting prep taping myself. I remembered a "store brand" style blue tape that didn't work at all, so when I saw the advanced I was sold! It went on perfectly, stayed on and came off without a hitch. I would shout from the rooftops and tell everyone I know about the BEST painters tape in the world - ScotchBlue!!

I like the blue because you can see it better and don't have to looks for bits of brown tape which can blend in to some surfaces. Plus it seems to come off the roll easier and to find the end on the roll.

New Orange Logo Is a Problem!
on September 6, 2011

The orange logo/writing now appearing on the blue painter's tape runs when the tape is wiped with a solvent or alcohol. The wiping cloth becomes contaminated with orange ink, which in turn contaminates the surface to be painted or varnished. The manufacturer should stop applying this orange logo/writing, and stop trying to use the tape as an advertising medium. The tape itself is fine... the orange advertising on it has got to go!

I choose this product because i had heard great things about it, from friends and from ads on tv. Once i got started with my home project, i soon realized that there where bleeds on every wall. Im doing a two tone wall so once im done painting the second color im going to need to find a way to fix these bleeds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product on three different projects and different surfaces ( walls, repurposed wood desk and plastic lawn chairs) The tape was durable and did not stick or cause paint to run. My lines were even and the job came out perfect each time.
