[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does NOT perform like it is advertised!I spent an extra 2 days repainting and fixing the mess it made of my project.I would not recommend this product as the commercial is very misleading to people who have not experienced a mess from using this product like I have.I invested alot of time and money just to have it ruined from this lousy tape.

We bought our 1st house and it's a fixer-upper. From paint in everyroom to new flooring, fixing and removing walls, you name it, we've done it or are planning to do it. We used Scotch Blue Painters Tape w/ Edge Lock in everyroom with great success! Clean lines, easy to apply & remove. The 1 and only time the paint "leaked" was when it wasn't pressed to the wall completely, opperator error. We've used Scotch Blue Painters Tape w/ Edge Lock to protect window & door trim, floors, and ceilings. I love that it comes in different size widths. Wouldn't use anything else!
Helpfull Hint: Use Scotch Blue w/ Edge Lock to create your clean & sharp paint line, then use Regular Scotch Blue Tape to fatten your tape coverage. If you can be a messy painter like me, you want a thick tape edge to protect your surface. Simply apply the Regular Scotch Blue Tape, overlapping the Edge Lock; now you have a thicker protection area & you saved money doing it. (Scotch Regular Painters Tape is less expensive than the Edge Lock Tape)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a multi-surface tape with the edge lock feature, I have found this tape to be useful in a wide variety of applications other than during painting projects. Any time positive, but removable or temporary adhesion is required this tape performs. I am currently utilizing strips of ScotchBlue Painter's tape to positively seal flaps of cartons where I need repeated access. This tape not only seals well, but holds up under multiple uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this Painter's Tape many times and it has never failed me. From painting interior walls to small DIY projects, my paint never seeps through. My latest project involved taping off to make labels with chalkboard spray paint and I am still 100% satisfied! Thank you Scotch Blue!

I've seen the great tv ads for the advanced blue tape and I couldn't wait to try it out on my bedroom walls. We had previously painted our focal wall (45+ days ago), so I thought the tape would do fine on the lightly textured wall. I taped it all up and painted the side wall shortly after I finished taping it off. I was so excited to see the results, however the tape pulled off areas of my focal wall paint from the floor to the ceiling. This means more work for me, plus I'll need to go out and buy more of my focal wall paint to redo the areas that the tape pulled off.
