This tape shreds about every inch, to two inches. It would take days to tape a room to paint.

Perfect Peel

Just finished painting a room in my house and this tape is excellent. In the past i have used masking tape, and what a mess to remove. It usually ended up removing some of the paint in areas too. Not with the Scotch Blue Tape. This stuff is great. I even left it overnight and peeled it off, and no damage. Works great. Wish i had tried this sooner. It is very durable and easy to peel off when done, and the color really stands out to help guide when painting. Way to go Scotch! Thank you for the opportunity to try this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape to create a design on my walls. Although the design turned out well, the tape removed some of the previous paint and drywall paper, causing me to have to touch up a lot of areas by hand. In hindsight, I still would have used scotch blue, because it does give very clean lines, but might have tried the delicate surface variety.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's one of the best products on the market when painting. It comes off easy when project is done. Not like other tapes that pieces of it tears when pulling off.

I used this Scotch Blue Painter's tape to transform my daughter's room while she was away at college. She came home to a beautiful new room. Thank you Scotch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to paint the security lock system we have on our shed. There was no splatter of paint from a spray can on any part of the shed except the lock system I was looking to paint. It is proof that with the right materials and products led to a perfect painted lock system on our shed.

Not pleased!!

I purchased Scotch Blue #2093EL for the first time. I was in the final stages of completing an art cabinet for my daughter, which included numerous colors. I painstakingly put the tape on 4 drawers fronts for her to paint. When the paint was dry, I removed the tape. I noticed that most of the edges had a very thin blue line remaining. The tape is falling apart. What a pain in the butt. I don't know how I am going to remove all of these little pieces of tape. I might have to sand the whole thing and start over. GRRRRHHH!
