There're definitely not meant to be moved around much once loaded and tear easily when being folded. Having said that if you just want something to put old papers in and stick it on shelf for seven years these should work.

The boxes are ok and will suffice for what we need but would not recommend if what you need is a sturdy box for long time storage. The lid does not fit as well as I would like.
