Boxes are used without the lids for storage of medical charts. We still access the charts periodically and the boxes have held up well.

too large for paper

I intended to use the product to store files and books but found that its construction is not sturdy enough for the resulting weight. It would be better if it were not as long - then it would hold less paper but would be easier to handle and move and it would be sturdier and provide longer term use. Instead I now use it to store materials lighter than paper/books and it does fine for such purposes.

When filled with books or papers I can still manage to move one a short distance. They stack beautifully.

It's quite easy to assemble and holds up to five boxes of max weight stacked on top. Doesn't tear or rip when pulling from shelf via the hand hold. Worth the extra $ for the stronger box.

Not nearly as good as the original Bankers boxes. Will not stand up to heavy papers & magazines.
