These are the standard storage boxes. They are easy to assemble. The tops are attached so you don't end up missing one. I've used them for years. They stand up under heavy and repeated use. Great for long-term storage moving or transporting things. The easy removable top lets you avoid having to slice through tape or open flaps to get at your goods. They stack perfectly and don't collapse. I try to have extras in my closet just in case. I collect books and the storage boxes are perfect for those volumes you don't have room for on the shelf. I've also used them to hold extra computer equipment and anything floating around the house. And you can mark the contents on the outside.
These were useful while readying for yard sale before moving and then the actual move. The standardized box kept everything neat and ready for relocation
If you are planning to store items in these boxes which will be accessed more than once in awhile you may want a heavier model. But for storing items that will be accessed only now and then these are perfect. They don't cost much and they are reasonably sturdy so you can stack them.
I use them to store closed files. The boxes remain sturdy for a long time- never had one fall apart. They stack easily and are easily carried with the hand holds. I would like the option of also having a little bigger storage box for somewhat larger items.
The boxes were great BEFORE they attached the lids to the boxes. You now have to cut the box lid off of the box before you assemble either piece which wouldn't be a big concern but the perforated edge isn't perforated enough so even though you take scissors exacto knife etc you still risk a chance of tearing the lid or the box but normally the lid will tear. I finally got the hang of it but tore at least two or three of the lids while attempting to separate these. Very disappointing because I didn't have any extra lids to put in place of what was torn.
