File boxes are fairly standard. Another pro of Staples's model is the lid is inside the box rather than attached by a perforated line and does not have to be separated from the rest of the box to build. One con of Staples' brand is that the perforations for separating the inner sides for unfolding are incomplete and you need to score them with a good strong thumbnail at best or a knife or other edge/point at worst otherwise the face of the cardboard will tear from the corrugations at some point in the process of breaking the perforation. This scoring costs time and energy (and worn nails). This would be easy to improve by increasing the number of perforations points.

The best moving boxes around!

I've moved twice using these boxes. When everything is the same size the boxes can be stacked rather securely. They come in a wrapped thin package ~ I can transport 30 boxes from the store to my home by myself in one trip. Here in Florida using boxes from grocery stores may invite pests into the home so I always opt for clean wrapped boxes. The price went up $6/ten boxes since 2006 but that was not an issue. I have purchased over 100 since 2006 and have never had to put even one in the trash can. They have been in continuous use recycled appropriately or given away.
