You get what you pay for

Two of the boxes ripped where they weren't supposed to as I was putting them together. Cheap quality.

Staples Economy Storage Boxes - "Banker's Boxes"

I found Staples had the best price on the one cubic foot "banker's boxes". When I move I prefer using these to medium sized cardboard boxes for my files magazines books small household items and even some clothing which can get too heavy for me to lift. These boxes are compact stackable have slits for handles and space for clear labeling (less advertising cluttering up the sides). Once I have moved if I empty them they can be collapsed and reusable without adding box tape. When Staples have them on sale it's an even better bargain.

As strong as you'd expect the economy box to be. Easy to assemble. Flaw: top is way too hard to separate from the rest. Tears every time. Needs better perforation.

Good for storage and general occasional use. Sturdy enough but if you were looknig for every day use pulling them off shelves by handles I'd suggest an upgraded version. ZThese do hold up well in storage over time

Just the tops

I’ve used these boxes before and normally they are pretty good. This last batch had a few issues with the tops. They ripped at the corners and for some reason the boxes bowed a little. I would still order them again but I’d probably need to reinforce the tops before I would feel comfortable stacking them.

These boxes are sturdy and easy to assemble -- they're also a reasonable. I will use mine for moving and also for storage!
