These boxes are sturdy with two layers of cardboard all around. We like to use these for special items that are heavier than normal or that we want to be sure will be protected when the boxes are stacked.

We have many things to store that are not particularly heavy or that don't need to be stacked too high. These are good light duty boxes. We have stored heavier items in these but they can collapse if not full and other heavy boxes are placed on top. We do use a lot of these for a vvariety of items but we are cautious about what we put in them and how high we can stack them.

Very disappointing. We were moving several drawers of files. When I have purchased other brands it was possible to lift hanging files out of your drawers and drop them right into the box. You cannot do that with these. We had to push and squeeze the lid on and tape it several times around or else the top would keep popping off. Will never purchase these again.

Decent storage boxes but when you store hanging file folders (as shown in advertisement photos) the lid DOES NOT fit properly.
