Good Value for Money

Easy to construct with no tools. Each box took less than two minutes to assemble. Having a set of 10 boxes for this price is a tremendous bargain. These boxes aren't advertised for shipping and moving but I packed them with papers and sent them 500+ miles by UPS Ground. Each box arrived intact although somewhat worse for wear. For lightweight objects and nonbreakables these boxes provide a low-cost alternative to standard moving boxes. They also stack nicely up to four deep for compact storage.

I consider myself a mid-range shopper but I still look for bargains within that category. These boxes are sturdy and made of durable materials. The side labeling system makes it easy to write on for easy identification later.

Redesigned so one corner of the box is completely open when assembled.

This formerly useful product has been redesigned so that one corner is completely split open once the box is fully assembled. I have purchased these boxes for 10+ years for my company's year end records storage. Now the boxes are useless. I would give this zero stars if I could.

Excellent boxes with a small issue

I bought 40 of these boxes to box up books prior to a move. Although designed for files they seem just right for books with a double bottom hand holds at each end and no need for tape. The precut design with a single glued seam is clever and easy to assemble through folding once one understands the steps. These are clearly diagrammed on each box. As part of the design a flap for the cover extends from the body of the box next to the glued seam. The small issue I have has to do with the cover. On one of the first 10 boxes the perforation that allows the cover to be separated from the body of the box was over the glue of the seam; in separating the cover the seam opened up. That box will only be usable after being taped up. On several more boxes that perforation required extra care to separate but opening the seam was avoided. The boxes seem strong enough for the heaviness of books.

The box itself is great. However The cover should be about an 1/8" wider to accommodate the file holders and close properly.
