I used to use these bags all of the time in my classroom. The gallon bags were the perfect size to store activities in that five and six year olds could easily open and use and then clean up and the freezer ones were very durable. I understand that the stand up bottom is great for some things but now the bag is to short to store paper activities in so it cannot be closed and pieces to activities fall out everywhere. I am so sad. I wish they would make both so that one could choose the bag that best suits them. I have yet to find a suitable replacement and am feeling very frustrated. I use them more in my classroom than I ever do at home. Before the change to the bag, I would have given five stars.

Out of a 30 bag gallon box, approximately 30% of the sliders come off the bags when I tried to close them. I could not get the slider back onto the bag, so I had to throw away the unused bags because they were unusable. What has happened to the ziploc slider bags? They use to be great at storing food or anything, but now they seem to be very cheaply constructed.

I don't like that these bags have a different opening size and shape. The plastic slider comes off easily and the bags don't seal well. I'm never buying them again.
