doesn't lie flat. curve adds nothing to use.plastic holder appears flimsy but haven't used it long. serves the purpose of holding paper upright.

We liked this so much we bought more. It is convenient and tucks away nicely when not in use. The clear holder helps you see while you are typing. It expands to legal size as well as being the usual 8.5"x11". It sits well on the desk.
