I like to keep imediate information needed at hand. This unit does not work unless papers are clipped on or under the "arm". Papers slide off.

For billing/long contracts the guide/stand is a good tool as opposed to glancing down at the desk/using a ruler.

There isn't much to say about this. It holds documents in an upright position. It does this well. The see-through horizontal clip is nice and I've found that I rarely need to use the clip at the top to hold anything to the board due to its curved shape. Really if your document is less than 15 pages neither of the clips are necessary. The only downside to the curved shape is that it is awkward to store. There's no way for it lay flat and even placed on its side leaning against something trying to keep it out of the way when not in use it takes up extra space due to its shape. But since its curved shape is what makes it desireable in the first place its something that just has to be dealt with.

This thing turned out to be a lifesaver doing taxes this year. Have hundreds of buy and sell stock entries this holder was just what I needed to keep from searching for the line item I was working on. Would have been 5 stars but the bar that slides up and down did not stay straight and was loose at the top and bottom of the holder. This was due to the holder being curved. Looser at the top and bottom good in the middle.
